Virtually every other planner on the market is destined to spend eternity in a landfill due to the way it is bound, resulting in a “mixed materials waste product”.
Anything book bound, spiral bound, cloth, leather, laminate = mixed materials waste.
Nothing ever becomes compost, or “goes back to the earth” in a landfill, rather these materials just increase the permanent toxic load, and increase methane emissions in the process.
Plus, landfilling anything natural permanently removes it from the natural world forever - grossly short sighted and insultingly wasteful.
Zero upside.
We didn’t set out to be planner designers, but when we couldn’t find a single one on the market that wouldn’t eventually become landfill, we made one for ourselves based on our needs and design/waste ethos.
We worked with local recyclers to come up with a design that would be curbside recyclable, and have been working with a local printer and bindery ever since (started in 2018).
More fits and starts and fumbles than we can count over the years as we learned (still learning) how to create a really good product.
We’re so happy and excited about the new round of planners coming in 2026 - by far our best ever.
Thank you for sticking with us - as always, we love feedback and suggestions, so don’t hesitate to send us a message! -
ALL Wisdom Planners are now produced at the same time, 1x per year.
In order to keep making Teacher Planners at all, we need to produce them (here in Northern California) at the same time we produce our Standard Weekly Planners -
it’s a matter of consolidating as many production costs as possible in order to stay in business.
